Objectives

	To serve as an initial attempt for the Regional Transport Action Plan (RTAP), and to identify a preliminary set of actions that could potentially be included in the plan.
	To provide an all-inclusive description of the type, nature and scope of the identified actions as a potentially basis for the RTAP.

Structure

Besides the first introductory chapter, the module is set out in three further chapters:

	Chapter 2 provides a detailed discussion of the various stages and tasks involved in performing the transition from the Diagnostic Study to the RTAP, and the eventual preparation of RTAP itself.
	Chapter 3 includes a comprehensive listing by theme of all potential actions identified in the Diagnostic Study to feed into the RTAP. This chapter details these actions in a standard format (objectives, types of actions, beneficiary countries, target groups, cooperation with other projects, scope of work, etc.).
	Chapter 4 lists the abbreviations and acronyms used.
