The event took place on October 17, 2006 in Kfar Hamaccabiah, at a managers' conference on “Aviation Safety Management at the IAA” – a one-day conference on the subject of introducing FAD + SMS into the organization. Jordan19/10/2006 Positive 3rd Quarter Growth for Royal Jordanian Cargo Third quarter revenues for Royal Jordanian Cargo were up 9% compared to third quarter of 2005; passenger flight cargo revenues grew 6% while the freighters showed a robust 12% growth.
7/04/2006 Royal Jordanian and SITA sign Information Technology agreement Royal Jordanian signed a USD 3.2 million contract with SITA, under which SITA will provide the airline with Horizon, a complete IT Business solution. 23/08/2006 Le transport maritime totalement libéralisé d’ici juillet 2007 La libéralisation totale de l’offre de transport maritime est prévue d’ici fin juillet 2007. Pour baliser le terrain à ce processus, au demeurant irréversible, les pouvoirs publics ont, dernièrement, peaufiné une étude stratégique afin de recadrer la politique de développement sectoriel avec les impératifs plus généraux du Maroc. Logique comme démarche surtout si l’on sait que les échanges extérieurs nationaux dépendent du transport maritime à hauteur de 95%.

Il réglemente les conditions et procédures des services de transport réguliers et non réguliers.
25/08/2006 Tunisie: Renforcement du système de sécurité dans les ports Des camions scanners pour voitures ont été achetés récemment, et installés au port de la Goulette. Ils visent à renforcer la sécurité dans les ports tunisiens. Ces camions sont dotés des technologies de pointe qui ont fait preuve de leur efficacité dans le contrôle et la garantie de la fluidité de la circulation des véhicules dans le port.

Turkey24/09/2006 EU delivers aid to the Turkish Cypriot community The Commission has adopted today a financing decision for a total of €38.1 million to encourage the economic development of the Turkish Cypriot community. 07/06/2006 Commission takes stock of the GALILEO Programme The European Commission today adopted a communication taking stock of the GALILEO satellite radionavigation programme. It will be forwarded to the European Parliament, the Council, the Economic and Social Council and the Committee of the Regions.
02/06/06 Commission and ESPO set to promote investments in ports The European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) held its 3rd Annual Conference in Stockholm under the theme “A European policy for seaports – suggestions on the way forward”. The theme was chosen following the rejection of the port services’ Directive in January this year. The conference was hosted by the Ports of Sweden Association, which celebrates its 100th anniversary, and the Port of Stockholm.
01/06/2006 European Ports Policy: European Commission initiates global reflection and consultation process The European Commission will participate in the European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) Conference in Stockholm entitled “A European Policy for Seaports – Suggestions on the way forward” on 1 and 2 June. The Commission wants a global reflection and a wide consultation process in order to redefine the foundations of the future European ports policy. Such a policy should encompass the completion of the internal market in the sector, encourage transparent and non-discriminatory investment practices and enhance the role of ports in the transport chain.
