Work Plan
The purpose of this section is to present the works which will be developed throughout its lifespan by the EUROMED Aviation Project
The EUROMED Aviation project has a lifespan duration of three years to cover the activities entrusted by the European Commission.
2007 focused on the study and assessment of the situation in the Region & in each Country and on dissemination of the objectives of the Project through communication with ad hoc material (Website, News Letter, …)
2008, based on this analysis of the situation carried out during 2007, is dedicated to the provision of training and technical assistance.
2009 will focus on the elaboration of the Roadmap for the implementation of a Euro-Mediterranean Common Aviation Area and the Impact Assessment of the Common Aviation Area. 2007 Work PlanThe Project achieved:
- One-week Survey Missions in 8 Beneficiary countries in order to carry out the aforementioned analysis of the situation.
- A cycle of 4 Seminars per technical domain of the Project
- A website operational as of April 2007
- A letter of information: “Euromed Aviation Info”
2008 Work PlanThe Project has:
- Continued to organise Seminars on subjects related to the technical domains of the Project
- Started the Training Plan with courses related to the technical domains of the Project
- Started the Technical Assistance Plan with on site actions related to the technical domains of the Project
- Continued the dissemination of the activities and of the first results of the Project
2009 Work PlanThe Project will:
- Continue to organise Seminars on subjects related to the technical domains of the Project
- Continue the Training Plan with courses related to the technical domains of the Project
- Continue the Technical Assistance Plan with actions on-site in the Beneficiary countries
- Start and complete the Road Map and the Impact Assessment
- Continue the dissemination of the activities and the results of the Project
