Summary :

Presentation of the results of Regional Workshop East Med organised by the MedaMoS team in Cairo in order to prepare the call for proposals of pilot Motorways of the Sea Projects in each of the this region.

The aim of this participative workshop was to define the key conditions required for MoS/ maritime intermodal transport organisation and to prepare the call for projects by market operators.  
 
During this workshop all relevant topics were discussed in detail by three thematic Working groups:

• Working Group n°1: Markets, operations and services
• Working Group n°2: Trade facilitation and information systems
• Working Group n°3: Pilot projects

The Conclusions were presented to all participants in the presence of Mrs. Ana Panagopoulos, International relations - Directorate-General Energy and Transport/A 3.
