Airlines Open Market Seminar

Further to the Amman Air Transport Seminar (17 & 18 October 2007), the Euromed Project is pleased to announce the organisation of the following event:

“AIR CARRIERS COMPETING IN AN OPEN MARKET”

Objectives of the Seminar

The objectives of this 3-day seminar are to:

• Understand the benefits and impacts of an open market
• Present the airline restructuring & privatisation and regulations on State Aid
• Identify the challenges of the MEDA based airlines
• Define strategies for the MEDA based airlines facing increased competition

Participants

It is expected an attendance of 40/50 people composed of:

• 4 representatives of each beneficiary country of the Euromed Aviation Project invited and covered by the Project (1 from the Ministry of Transport, 1 from the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), 2 from National Airlines). Selections are made by the National Coordinators
• Other participants from Mediterranean & EU Ministries of Transport, CAAs, air carriers and International Organisations (AACO, ACAC, EC DG TREN, ICAO, …)
• Distinguished Lecturers

The Seminar is free and open to any aviation stakeholder of the Euro-Mediterranean region. For participants not covered by the Project a lump sum of 150 Euros will be requested to cover the lunches and the coffee breaks of the 3 days. To register, please click here and fill in the attached form.
