Airlines Open Market Seminar
Further to the Amman Air Transport Seminar (17 & 18 October 2007), the Euromed Project is pleased to announce the organisation of the following event:
“AIR CARRIERS COMPETING IN AN OPEN MARKET” Objectives of the SeminarThe objectives of this 3-day seminar are to:
Understand the benefits and impacts of an open market Present the airline restructuring & privatisation and regulations on State Aid Identify the challenges of the MEDA based airlines Define strategies for the MEDA based airlines facing increased competition
ParticipantsIt is expected an attendance of 40/50 people composed of:
4 representatives of each beneficiary country of the Euromed Aviation Project invited and covered by the Project (1 from the Ministry of Transport, 1 from the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), 2 from National Airlines). Selections are made by the National Coordinators Other participants from Mediterranean & EU Ministries of Transport, CAAs, air carriers and International Organisations (AACO, ACAC, EC DG TREN, ICAO, …) Distinguished Lecturers
The Seminar is free and open to any aviation stakeholder of the Euro-Mediterranean region. For participants not covered by the Project a lump sum of 150 Euros will be requested to cover the lunches and the coffee breaks of the 3 days.
