ICAO Basic Safety Management Systems (Code 64)

Objectives

  • Develop participants’ knowledge of safety management concepts and ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) on safety management in Annexes 6, 11 and 14, and related guidance material
     
  • Develop participants’ knowledge to certify and oversee the implementation of key components of a basic SMS, in compliance with relevant ICAO SARPs and national regulations

Candidates

  • Representatives from CAAs, ANSPs, Airlines & Airports in charge of implementation/oversight of safety programmes in the areas of aircraft operations, air traffic services, maintenance of aircraft and aerodrome operations

Sessions

Course n° 2 will take place in Cairo, Egypt from 17 November (1st day of course) to 21 November 2008 (last day of course).

This course will be delivered by ICAO.

Course n°1 took takes place in Rabat, Morocco from 9 June (1st day of course) to 13 June 2008 (last day of course).

This course was delivered by ICAO.
