National Counterpart Team Meetings

The National Counterpart Team (NCT) meetings are the main platform for discussion and exchange of views between the Mediterranean Partner Countries, the European Commission, and the Euromed Transport Project.

The NCT meetings are project coordination meetings which bring together the National Coordinators and the National Counterpart Teams from the MEDA countries, as well as the other stakeholders in the project.

The NCT meetings are organised by the Main Contract as part of its policy dialogue activities. Attendance is by invitation only.

These meetings gather:

the National Coordinators and National Counterpart Teams of the MEDA-12 countries;
the European Commission officials in charge of the project;
the project management teams (Main Contract and Infrastructure Contract).

The main purposes of the NCT meetings are:

to examine the project outputs and activities;
to review annual progress in the project implementation;
to prepare plans for the following stages.
