PANS OPS (RNAV) (Code 56)
Objectives- Provide the trainee with every theoretical knowledge to design procedures based on RNAV concepts (SID, STAR, NPA, & APV) with application of different sensors ( VOR/DME, DME/DME, GNSS)
CandidatesFlight Instrument procedures designers with expertise in conventional navigation designs.
Requirements: Mathematics & Physics, System Units, Basics of navigation, Operation and main technical characteristics of VOR, DME, GNSS systems, Basics of avionics, Altimetry, Cartography, scale, WGS 84, projections used in air navigation, Computer science, Expertise in procedures design based on conventional navigation
