8th EMAC Steering Committee Meeting

The 8^th meeting of the EMAC Steering Committee took place in Nicosia on 8 and 9 April 2009.

(EMAC stands for Europe - Middle East ATM Coordination and gathers the countries of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus).

Purpose of EMAC

The purpose of EMAC is to enable the Participating States to coordinate between them as well as with other European and International Bodies on all Air Traffic Management (ATM) matters.

The Euromed Aviation Project is supporting the EMAC initiative making use of Eurocontrol expertise and attended the 8^th Steering Committee Meeting.
